In this culture that emphasizes “knots” (Musubi), I saw another level. Here, bows are ever-changing, serving not only as decoration but also carrying deeper meaning.

Among different shapes, the bow is a structure, a connection, and even a “mechanics” that supports clothing and the body. This time, the The Art of Ribbon series draws inspiration from this study on “knots” (Ribbon Studies). From the three-dimensional bow cut on the Musubi jacquard coat, we aim to capture that firmness formed within softness, so the bow stands upright and crisp.

The bow is not just a bow; it is memory, and it is the present; until you finally tie the bow and confidently face the world.
